| Can I call you up and leave the information on your answering machine?
For there to be any binding authority from the insurance company and you, you must talk personally to a licensed agent. Simply leaving the information is helpful but unless you leave the information and talk to an agent there is no "bound" coverage. That is why you probably should just leave a message and phone number for the agent to call you back.

| Can I get a better deal, if I have my home and auto with one company?
This depends on the circumstances of your home and your automobile. Yes there are discounts offered off of their rates. We even have one company we represent that gives additional coverages for having a home or farm dwelling and auto policy in the same company. But saving money is not always possible by having all in one company. Please ask and we can always compute to see what makes the better deal for you!

| What do the initals CIC mean?
Thomas C Bender, CIC is now entering his 30th year as a member of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors. He has spent 30 years in the pursuit of insurance knowledge. He has taken tests to achieve the designation and has continued the commitment by attending mandatory education classes for 20 hours of instruction for the last 30 years.
